CBSE Date Sheet 2018 for Class X and XII

After creating a considerable amount of anxiety among students, the CBSE date sheet 2018 for class 10th and 12th board examinations has finally been released. The exams for both the classes commence on March 5, after the festival of Holi. The end dates for class 10th and 12th are April 4 and April 12 respectively. The announcement was made on CBSE’s official websites cbse.nic.in and cbseacademic.in.

Points to be noted:

  • The paper starts at 10:30 AM.
  • The practical exams will be conducted in CBSE schools from mid-January to the month end.

The CBSE date sheet 2018 review by the experts and teachers so far has been positive with the main subjects being well-spaced from one another, giving a considerable amount of time for students to prepare themselves. For CBSE class 12th science students, the exam ends on March 21. Since the JEE 2018 offline exam date is April 8, they have a decent gap between the two exams. For the medical students, the last paper is Biology on March 27.

A total of about 28 lakhs students will be appearing for CBSE board exams this year. This is the first time that CBSE accepted over 11 lakhs registrations for the 12th board.

The announcement of the CBSE date sheet 2018 was a highly awaited one considering the last year’s much-criticized delay that was made during the announcement of results.
