BITSAT 2018 is slated to begin on 16th of May and will be held until 31st of May. The online-based engineering entrance test will be held in more than 60 cities across the country.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is the conducting institute of BITSAT and it is very stringent on making changes to examination dates or even centers.
Other engineering entrance tests are scheduled to take place around the same time and hence BITS Pilani has decided to give the candidates a chance to change their exam slot, date along with the center. A request to change the same can be submitted online from 10th of May to 13th of May 2018. Candidates who have already registered for BITSAT 2018 are eligible to request for the change.

The candidates who will apply for the change in time slot, date, and center, will have to take their entrance test on 27th of May. A new admit card will be issued online for these candidates, which can be downloaded online. To download the admit card, a candidate will need the following:
- Application Number
- Gender
- DOB (Date of Birth)
Besides two copies of signed admit card with attached passport size photographs, a candidate needs to present the following at the exam center: A valid ID proof and fingerprint.
BITSAT 2018 will consist of 150 MCQ type questions with each question carrying 3 marks. The test will be divided into Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language, and Logical Reasoning sections. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and hence along with speed, accuracy will be very important.
BITSAT is the only engineering entrance test that allows candidates to attempt extra 12 questions to boost their scores given that the allotted 150 questions are done before the stipulated 3 hours. Beware of negative marking though as the wrong attempt to a question can reduce your rank considerably.
