JEE Main is set to be held on the 2nd Sunday of the April 2018 i.e. 8th April 2018. The JEE Main 2018 will be held offline on the aforementioned date and the dates for the online version of the exam would be announced officially in the near future. However, JEE Advanced 2018 will be held online and will have many other changes over the previous JEE Advanced exams.

Many experts speculate that online JEE would be tough for students from rural backgrounds to tackle. It would bring a natural disadvantage to learners who are not highly proficient in computers and internet. A large strata of JEE Advanced aspirants hail from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where the internet and computer penetration is very limited. Although the online examination is based on the same concepts, experts believe it is very likely to give students from urban backgrounds a clear advantage.

To equip yourself for online JEE, right examination preparation strategy means solid concepts as well as exam readiness. While hard-work and dedication are the recipes for good concepts, smart work is the key for exam readiness. It is important to take mock tests seriously and practice on simulated JEE-like conditions. You need to practice each concept specifically as well as full-tests for comprehensive planning and it should be done preferably online.
